We purchased Fiery French Whiskey (barn name Ace) as a weanling in 2017. His sire is Firewater Frenchman (an own son of Fire Water Flit by the only full sister to Kristie Peterson's Bozo and PC Frenchmans Hayday - AKA Dinero). Firewater Frenchman is the sire to Jessica Routier's Fiery Miss West who carried her to six NFR qualifications and ended up WPRA Reserve World Champion and Reserve Average Champion in 2018. Ace's dam is an own daughter of Paddy's Irish Whiskey.
Ace has been in training with Luke Jones since July of 2020. They won the Black Hills Stock Show AQHA Best of the West Tie Down Futurity in 2021 and repeated the winning performance in 2022. They ended up 6th in the Heeling Futurity in 2022 and 3rd in the Heading Futurity in 2023. Ace competed at the AQHA Junior World Show in Oklahoma City, OK in 2021 ending up 7th in the world in Junior Heading. They participated in all three roping events and performance halter at the World Show again in 2022. They improved to 6th place in Junior Heading and added a 6th place finish in Performance Halter as well. In 2023, he was qualified in 5 events. We showed him in both the L2 and L3 levels. He was a Top 10 finisher in L2 Tie-down and Heading. He was a finalist in L3 Tie-down and Heading. We didn't come back for performance halter or ranch riding at the World Show in 2023.

REFERENCE SIRES
Sak Em Wily Wood
1998 Dun Stallion 15.1 Hands
We purchased Woody as a yearling. He was our primary stallion and my primary rope horse until 2019. Sadly, we lost Woody to natural causes in the summer of 2021. He was a phenomenal animal and will always have a special place in my heart. His colts are known for their disposition, athleticism and ability to learn quickly.
We kept back a 2019 filly out of Woody and Sis, our Gunner daughter. That colt's pedigree will span almost 40 years of breeding and goes back to the very first mare that came from my dad.

We sold Gunner at the Black Hills Stock Show sale on January 25, 2013. We held the all time sale amount record for 24 hours until it was broken again the next day. He was a fabulous animal but we moved and I no longer had a use for 2 stallions. I just couldn't part with Woody.
Gunner earned 3 calf roping points, 7 heeling points and his performance register of merit at the AQHA show prior to the sale. They also won the consignment team roping on him heading.
He will be missed but we kept back a daughter for use as a broodmare and have a granddaughter sired by Woody who had her first foal in 2022.
