We almost lost this filly to a viral infection right after she was born. She pulled through after 5 days of IV's administered every 4 hours. Her barn name is Ivy for obvious reasons. She ended up getting stepped on during the process and is broodmare sound only. That's ok, she'll be a great one. In spite of her injury, I've seen her flat fly for short distances. Ivy is a big mare and an absolute sweetheart. Check out her pedigree. Her offspring will have speed and should be performers as well. Ivy's first foal by Fiery French Whiskey born in 2020 was sold at 30 days of age. His full brother sold in 2021 at 4 days of age. Her 2022 buckskin colt sold locally prior to advertising as well. All three are phenomenal buckskin stud and performance prospects. We will find out as the first two are scheduled to be shown in professional hands. Ivy had a spectacular bay filly out of FFW in 2023 and added another buckskin FFW colt in 2024. I love this cross. She is bred back the same way for 2025.
