Seven S Gunpoint AKA "Gunner"
Gunner and Siobhan O'Connell from the Sliding SL Ranch 2004 Buckskin Stallion Own Son of 2004 AQHA Superhorse - Real Gun By an Own Daughter of Smart Chic Olena Gunner was bred
and raised on the 7S Stuart ranch in Oklahoma. We purchased him as a 2
year old. He has a natural slide and is a very quick learner. His first
colt crop was in 2007. His colts are built for reining and cutting.
They are powerful and compact with exceptional hip and good, straight legs. He was shown in 2 NRHA shows
in May of 2009. He placed 3rd in a Green Horse Class in Lincoln and won
the same class at his second show in Broken Bow, NE. Gunner is now in
Spring Valley, WI with the Sliding SL Ranch. He will stand for $600.
Contact Becky Lee, Breeding Manager, at 715-307-2477 if you are interested
in breeding to this exception animal. Gunner will continue his training
with Siobhan O'Connell. They are telling me that he is sliding 20 feet on
his stops. For more information on Gunner and the Sliding SL Ranch, check
out their website at

These photos were taken in June of 2009. Remember that Josh is 6'5" tall.
Sak Em Wily Wood 1998 Dun Stallion 15.1 Hands We can't say enough about this horse. We purchased Woody as a yearling. He has been our primary stallion ever since. Besides being extremely athletic, Woody has a disposition to die for. You could hand breed him with a twine string. I can walk out in the pasture and catch him right in the middle of the mares even during breeding season. In 2007, we pulled him out of the mares and took him to 2 brandings. Last fall I helped the neighbor gather and sort the cows from the calves on him. I have pasture and team roped off of him but he is not what I consider a finished rope horse. He saddles, loads, ties, clips, etc. like an old gelding. You won't know that he is a stallion while you are riding him. He is exceptional in the box and really runs to cattle well. He is as smooth as glass to ride and extremely athletic. Woody has 9 colt crops with the vast majority being buckskin and dun. Five of his horse colts were DNA typed indicating use as a stallion. His colts are being used for breeding, ranch, arena and feedlot use with numerous repeat customers. His colts come right up to you in the pasture and are exceptionally easy to work with and train. Stud Fee for 2010 is $400 plus mare care.
Woody and Dan turn one in the practice pen for his brother, Shon, in June of 2010. REFERENCE SIRES These stallions were owned previously and are shown here for reference only. Olenas Peppy Badger 1997 Gray Stallion 15.3 Hands We sold Badger in
2006 when we purchased Gunner.
We were fortunate to have owned him.
We are going to miss having him around.
Skips Go Lucky Lucas 1994 Sorrel Stallion 15.3 Hands Here are a couple of pictures of Skips Go Lucky Lucas. Luke was our second stud and the sire of many of the mares we currently own. We kept this stud for several years. He was the heaviest muscled horse I have ever owned. He was a gentle giant. We sold Luke in 1999 when we purchased Woody as we were not set up for multiple sires at that time. I'm not totally sure if Brenda has forgiven me for that yet.
